About young states
Young States formed in mid 2008 and since then have recorded a single at Chem 19 with producer Davey Mcauley which was launched at the ABC 2 in Glasgow, featured on Jim Gellatly's new music podcast and played an accoustic session for BBC Scotland as well as having airplay from the station too.
The band have supported This Town Need Guns, Little Comets, Slow Club, Frightened Rabbit, Hold Fire, Our Brother the Native and The Xcerts to name a few.
In July 09 Young States signed to Sapien Records and recorded the music video for their first single "Shiver" in July 09.

We are Cheap Deal and its just all about having fun with the music. If its not fun whats the point.

The band came together almost accidentally out of boredom and the need for noise in our lives. We're just messing about enjoying ourselves and hopefully making some music that is fun and can make you smile. There are too many people with a chip on their shoulder nowadays and well they just have to lighten up. Ok its Scotland it rains and is miserable get used to it and go out and have fun and enjoy the life you were given.

About Epitaph
We're 4 guys brought together through a love of music. We're still searching for our 5th. So, bass players get in touch. With a few songs under our belt, and gigs booked, we feel like we're coming on leaps and bounds. With every show we play we feel like we come on even more as a band.
